Metal Fabricator / Mig Welder

WorkRight Edge Protection Systems is rapidly growing company located in Riverstone NSW, involved in the manufacturer and supply of our patented ExPanda handrail system. Our products are used on sites all across the country and provide a safer working experience for high rise and general construction sites.

We are seeking a Fabricator / Welder to assist in the manufacture and repair of our products, including our ExPanda Handrail, Debris Containment, Catch Fan and Screen Systems.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• Read and understand drawings to manufacture multiple WorkRight products.

• Select, clean and prepare metal stock.

• Use of factory machinery including, Press Brake and Guillotine.

• Use of basic hand tools.

• Adjustment of welder settings to suit specific tasks.

• MIG Welding of sheet plate.

• Undertake simple fabrication jobs unattended in a safe manner.

• High level attention to detail and quality control.

• Be able to problem solve, make decisions and resolve issues as they arise.

• Ensure good time management is kept on all jobs and work carried out.

• Complete work safely, ensuring all SafeWork and environmental requirements are being met, procedures and policies are followed.

• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure protective clothing is being used when required.

• Ensure work areas are kept clean and a safe environment is maintained.

Qualifications / Licenses:

• Cert III level qualification or formal training that is comparable.

• Right to work in Australia.

                    Mon - Thurs: 6am - 4pm

                                   Fri: 6am - 2pm

                                  Sat: 5:30am -12pm (May be required)
