We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a dynamic team in a growing regional business.

Task & responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components.
• Operating and maintaining welding equipment, hand tools, and machinery.
• Cutting, shaping, and joining metal materials using MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Conducting quality control checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborating with the engineering and installation teams for on-site project requirements.

Qualification & experience

• Relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication or Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ full-time experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in welding and metalwork techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with WHS requirements in a workshop setting.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
