We are looking for a friendly, highly motivated receptionist that will thrive in a team environment to join our support team of administrators and clinical staff on a Full time or Permanent Part Time basis.

The successful candidate will be a valued member of our team and have a positive and friendly attitude towards team members and patients.

• Open and close clinic.
• Communicate with patients via phone, email and in person, in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Schedule appointments for patients.
• Issue patient invoices/receipts and bulk bill as required.
• Enter and update patient registration details.
• Exercise confidentiality with regards to patient care and all aspects of the practice.
• Assist doctors and nurses as requested and required.

• Correspondence management.

• General housekeeping such as tidying and cleaning of waiting room and other practice facilities when necessary

To be ideal for this role, you must have the following attributes:

• Bright and friendly personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in a Medical Receptionist role
• High level of computer literacy
• Previous experience with Best Practice Software or similar is advantageous
• Self-motivated and an ability to work unsupervised
• Reliable with strong work ethic
