Position

An exciting opportunity is now available for a qualified Mechanical Technician to join the Brisbane team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pre-delivery, commissioning, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment
• Workshop-based duties with field service work as required
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs across Brisbane and occasional regional projects
• Mechanical assembly, upfitting, and commissioning of new and used equipment
• Servicing and repair of petrol and diesel-powered generators, lighting towers, and air compressors
• Providing high-quality service and technical support to customers both on-site and remotely
• Liaising with customers to schedule maintenance and repairs
• Assisting with spare parts identification and inventory requirements
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Supporting and mentoring trade assistants and apprentices

Candidate

We welcome applications from all qualified mechanical tradespeople. Previous experience with generators or power generation equipment is highly regarded but not essential.

Highly desirable attributes include:

• Mechanical trade qualification (e.g. Diesel Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or similar)
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
• Experience across industrial, construction, or hire equipment environments
• Experience with generators, compressors, or mobile plant (highly regarded)
• Ability to work autonomously and manage field service tasks independently
