About the role

As a Mechanical Fitter/Pipe Threading Air Water at Tetris Group, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of a variety of mechanical equipment, including pipes, pumps, valves and other industrial components. This is a casual role based in Yatala, Queensland, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule.

What you'll be doing

1. Install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment such as pipework, pumps, valves and other components

2. Perform pipe threading and other machining tasks as required

3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions

4. Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations

5. Maintain detailed records of work performed

6. Support the wider maintenance team as needed

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related trade

2. Extensive experience as a Mechanical Fitter, with a proven track record of successful installations, maintenance and repairs

3. Proficient in pipe threading, machining and other mechanical techniques

4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

5. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

7. Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders

8. Essential experience in pipe threading and air/water system operations is required
