If you do, then come and join us and help make every day a Magical Days Kindy Dancing experience for the children at Childcare Centre's and Kindergartens across Melbourne.

The 'Magic' MDKD Instructor Role

MDKD Instructors are high energy, passionate and creative Dancers and/or Performers who bring their vibrant enthusiasm for movement and imagination activation to share with children aged 0–5 in Childcare Centre's and Kindergartens.

As a unique lifestyle and enjoyable Contractor Role, we understand how suited it is for creative people with backgrounds in dance, dance instruction, performance, early childhood education or fitness professionals who love working with children.

The MDKD Instructor roles available are for both the Metro North and Metro West Regions in Melbourne respectively, so you must be willing to travel in your region as a minimum. If you are willing to travel to work locations outside your region, this may present more work opportunity. We do our best to send you to your 'first of the day' work location no more than 35 minutes' drive from your starting point where possible.

MDKD Class Delivery

• You will conduct fun-filled, play based learning 45 to 60-minute MDKD Classes packed with dance, music, movement, magic, storytelling and imagination activation bringing fresh energy, super excitement and wonderful creativity to each and every session!

• Engage and inspire young children in Childcare Centre's/Kindergartens through our creatively designed MDKD Class Curriculum.

• Build respectful, warm and positive connections with all Centre Staff and Families while maintaining Childcare Centre Code Of Conduct Policy requirements.

• Work in line with Victorian School Terms - enjoy your holidays too!

To Become a 'Magic' MDKD Instructor

• You will preferably have a background in Dance, Performance, Fitness or Early Childhood Education along with instruction experience with children aged 3 to 6.

• Be Confident, Professional, Reliable, Consistent and have fantastic Communication Skills.

• Bring a Business Outlook – this is a self-managed Contractor Role; you are paid for each MDKD Class (Full Session) delivered (this is not an employee position).

• WWCC and your own ABN (both essential)

• Your own reliable car for transporting MDKD Props and Equipment (essential)

• Must be available for 2 to 3 weekdays from 9.00am to 3.30pm. (essential)

• Consistency Matters for our little MDKD Kiddies; you will be working from a pre-determined MDKD Class Schedule each week.

• A person with Permanent Work Rights in Australia with no restrictions may apply. Working Holiday Visa Holders are not to apply.

• 18 years old plus minimum application age accepted only.

The Magical Days Kindy Dancing Offering

• Minimum $45.00 per hour for 'Training MDKD Classes'.

• Minimum $55.00 per hour for conducting MDKD Classes (solo).

• All MDKD Props, Music, Costumes and Structured Class Plans provided.

• MDKD Uniform provided.

• Ongoing MDKD Training, Support and Resources to help you become and continue to grow as a 'Magic' MDKD Instructor.

• Additional Income potential via Children's Birthday Parties, Centre Incursions and Special One-Off Events.

• We support your dreams allowing for pre-agreed 'time off' with reasonable notice for your creative auditions.
