About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Specialist to support maintenance master data activities in a heavy industry environment.
This role will focus on building, maintaining and improving SAP master data, including BOMs, task lists, items, maintenance plans, functional locations and construction types. You will work within established business rules, standards and conventions to ensure data quality, consistency and accuracy across asset management workflows.
You will work closely with reliability engineers, maintenance planners and operations teams to optimise equipment data and support improved maintenance and asset management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Building and maintaining SAP master data including BOMs, task lists, items and maintenance plans
Maintaining functional locations, construction types and related equipment data
Working within business rules, standards and master data conventions
Auditing data quality and identifying discrepancies
Preparing and performing bulk data upload sheets
Supporting improvements to equipment data and asset management workflows
Working closely with reliability engineers, maintenance planners and operations teams
Identifying opportunities for configuration or data improvements
About You
Strong SAP master data experience
Experience building and maintaining BOMs, task lists, items, maintenance plans, FLOCs and construction types
Experience working with business rules, standards and master data conventions
Ability to audit data quality and identify discrepancies
Experience preparing bulk data upload sheets
Heavy industry experience
High attention to detail
Ability to work with reliability, planning and operations stakeholders
Must have the right to work in Australia
