Bagicha is an established hospitality brand based in Brisbane, recognised for delivering premium dining experiences through its distinctive British-Indian cuisine concept. As part of our continued business growth and expansion strategy, we are seeking a commercially focused and strategically minded Marketing Specialist to support brand development, customer engagement, market expansion, and promotional initiatives across the business.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic marketing direction of a growing hospitality business operating within a competitive customer-focused environment.

Position Overview

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies and promotional initiatives aligned with the organisation’s business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with management to identify market opportunities, strengthen brand positioning, increase customer engagement, and support business growth through integrated marketing activities across digital and traditional channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to support customer acquisition, brand awareness, and business growth objectives.

  • Conduct market research and analyse consumer behaviour, competitor activity, hospitality trends, and market opportunities to support strategic marketing decisions.

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies relating to advertising, promotions, pricing initiatives, customer engagement, and distribution channels.

  • Coordinate integrated marketing activities across digital platforms, social media channels, online advertising, promotional campaigns, and marketing collateral.

  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance data and campaign analytics to evaluate effectiveness, optimise return on investment, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Support the planning and promotion of new menu launches, catering services, events, partnerships, and other business development initiatives.

  • Liaise with external agencies, media suppliers, designers, photographers, and promotional partners to coordinate marketing-related activities and campaigns.

  • Provide recommendations regarding digital marketing initiatives, including social media marketing, online advertising, customer engagement strategies, and associated analytics.

  • Collaborate with management to support ongoing brand development, customer retention initiatives, and expansion opportunities across the business.

  • Provide support for marketing and business development initiatives relating to Kinara, Bagicha’s sister hospitality brand, if required.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign management, digital marketing strategies, and customer engagement practices.

  • Experience using marketing and analytics platforms including Meta Ads, Google Ads, Canva, and associated digital marketing tools.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop professional marketing and promotional content.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a dynamic business environment.

  • Previous experience within hospitality, retail, food services, or customer-focused industries will be highly regarded.

  • A genuine interest in hospitality, consumer behaviour, and brand development.
