Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing marketing & administration support in all aspects of the marketing and communication activities that will help drive the success of the sales team and product opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. This is a part-time position (5 days per fortnight). Candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane are preferred.
Location - Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead sales and marketing initiatives for the Veterinary portfolio including training and customer facing activities with the Australian distributor
Provide marketing and sales administrative support such as distribution of promotional activities and liaison with creative agencies and other suppliers
Assist sales and marketing programs (promotions, tradeshows advertising, PR, communications) in conjunction with the Marketing Manager
Assist in the development and management of all integrated Marketing programs including digital and print advertising, lead generation, tradeshow, promotion management and sales support related to the specific market segment and products
Coordinate the Commercial kick off meeting
Support Marketing Team in coordinating end-user presentations, trade shows and conferences
Awareness and alignment to ICU Medical’s QMS policies and procedures
Observance and compliance with WHS legislation and policies
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1- 3 years prior experience as an Assistant Product Management or Junior Sales Representative within the Medical Device/Consumables industry preferred, not mandatory
An undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business preferred
Demonstrated experience in Digital Marketing communications
Proven successful communication and presentation skills
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects whilst consistently executing within planned deadlines
Organised, self-starter willing to take the initiative to get things done and work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Able to work without direct supervision
Able to clearly present product, systems, and service information
Must have Australian or New Zealand working rights
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires less than 10% travel in role
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
