Australia's marine industry needs people who can handle the heat, literally. WorkinAUSX is hiring a qualified Boilermaker to join a marine fabrication team based in Cairns, working across vessel construction, structural welding, and hull maintenance in one of the country's most active maritime precincts.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products
- Welding and cutting metal components
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a
- Proficient in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
