The Role:  

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician with a strong mechanical aptitude, capable of performing repairs, servicing breakdowns, and general maintenance in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical skills while ensuring the operational efficiency of our production line and associated equipment. 

Your Responsibilities: 

• Perform electrical installation, repairs, maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics on plant and equipment. 

• Attend to breakdowns swiftly to minimize production downtime. 

• Ensure all tasks comply with Safe Operating Procedures and statutory regulations. 

• Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program to reduce unplanned stoppages. 

• Collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and safety. 

• Lead and mentor apprentices on best practices and safety measures. 

• Organize and oversee contractors and manage spare parts inventory as required. 

Your Qualifications: 

• Electrical Trade Certificate and unrestricted Electrical Licence. 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. 

• Proficiency in electrical fault finding 

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, TPM, Root Cause Analysis). 

• Experience reading and understanding workshop drawings. 

• Strong communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
