This is an exciting role as the business enters the next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in the sheet metal or manufacturing industry who enjoys balancing technical skills with hands-on project coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesRead and Interpret Technical Drawings - Understand blueprints and technical specifications to fabricate parts accurately.
Measure, Cut, and Shape Sheet Metal - Use tools such as the guillotines, press brake and rollers and other equipment to form metal components.
Assemble Metal Components - Fabricate components using various metals, including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.
Materials Experience - Demonstrate proven experience working with both stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium fabrication.
Qualifications & ExperienceMust hold a metal fabrication Australian-recognised trade qualification.
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Light Metal Fabricator - finer detail precision fabricator with an eye for detail.
High-level proficiency in sheet metal bending, cutting and welding techniques to achieve high-end products.
Advanced-level competency in MIG and TIG welding is required to deliver exceptional product quality.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit.
Must have permanent Australian work rights.
