Level 2 Network Engineer – Hobart (Contract) - Baseline Clearance

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Network Engineer for an upcoming deployment project across multiple sites in Hobart.

Working alongside and under the direction of a senior Network Consultant, you will assist with the staging, configuration and deployment of approximately 78 network switches across five customer locations.

Project Details

• Location: Hobart, TAS

• Start: Late July / Early August 2026 (anticipated)

• Contract engagement

• Multi-site deployment project

Key Responsibilities

• Staging and configuration of network switches

• On-site installation and deployment activities

• Basic troubleshooting and issue resolution

• Working closely with the lead Network Consultant to ensure successful project delivery

• Accurate documentation and adherence to customer processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous network deployment experience

• Hands-on experience with switch installations and network hardware

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Ability to follow established deployment procedures

• Professional customer-facing communication skills

Mandatory Requirement

• Current Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance

Desirable

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure rollouts

• Experience supporting enterprise or government environments
