Lead Business Analyst 

We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Lead Business Analyst to drive a range of business and technology initiatives.

This role will see you leading business analysis activities across multiple workstreams, working closely with senior stakeholders to define priorities, shape solutions and ensure successful delivery. You will play a key role in bringing structure to complex environments, while setting the direction for analysis and ensuring consistency in approach and outcomes.

In addition to hands-on delivery, you will provide guidance and oversight to other analysts, uplift capability where required and ensure best practice is followed across requirements, process design and solution definition.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the elicitation, analysis and documentation of business requirements across initiatives
• Engage senior stakeholders to define objectives and drive solution outcomes
• Translate business needs into clear, high-quality deliverables for delivery teams
• Oversee process analysis and identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and technology
• Provide leadership and guidance to Business Analysts across projects
• Support delivery across the lifecycle, including testing, UAT and implementation
• Contribute to change and transition activities to support successful adoption

 
About You

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, including leading initiatives or teams
• Background within financial services or a regulated environment is highly regarded
• Strong experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a pragmatic approach
• Experience mentoring or guiding other analysts
• Hands-on delivery focus with the ability to operate strategically when required
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or similar
