JP Finsbury Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based specialist in high-end custom cabinetry and architectural joinery for residential projects. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Joiner to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and client specifications to determine materials, measurements and installation requirements

Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens and bespoke joinery items in a workshop environment

Measure, cut, shape and fit timber, laminates and related materials using hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery

Operate workshop equipment including saws, routers and CNC machinery

Assemble cabinetry and furniture components prior to dispatch

Undertake on-site installation of custom joinery, ensuring accurate alignment and secure fixing

Conduct final adjustments and finishing to ensure high-quality presentation and durability

Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification

Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Requirements:

AQF Certificate III in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent qualification plus 1 year experience; OR

At least three years of relevant full-time experience in joinery and cabinetmaking

Demonstrated experience in custom cabinetry fabrication and installation

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
