Task & responsibilities

• Identify objectives and constraints of jewellery design, working with 22K gold, 18K gold, and diamond jewellery, including custom designs and repairs.
• Conduct product research and analyse functional, commercial, cultural, and aesthetic requirements.
• Create CAD drawings and 3D resin prints for jewellery; produce rough sketches from descriptions.
• Perform and train other jewellers in the casting process, including selecting and recommending materials, methods, and finishes.
• Carry out gold jewellery repairs – soldering, laser soldering, polishing, stone setting, riveting, prong repairs, and quality control.
• Handle casting clean-ups, engraving, enamelling, and restyling old gold jewellery.
• Detail and document designs for production; manufacture Mangalsutras (bridal jewellery) and Men’s Kadas (religious jewellery).
• Support the production team and collaborate with the sales team; demonstrate leadership, remain calm under pressure, and take a hands-on approach.
• Supervise the preparation of patterns, programs, tooling, and processes.

Qualification & experience

A minimum of 7-10 years' experience is required.
