About the Role:
As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be the friendly face of tech support, ensuring our people and devices run smoothly and securely. You’ll provide hands-on and remote support, troubleshoot issues, and help users get the most from their technology. You’ll work with the latest Microsoft 365 tools, Windows 11, Teams, OneDrive, and more, making a real impact on productivity and satisfaction. Due to the nature of this role, this position is expected to support all ICT function for our AU operations and because of this, this role is expected to be in our Brisbane office 5 days per week.
What You’ll Do
Respond to support requests promptly, troubleshooting user and device issues in a Microsoft 365 environment.
Log and categorise all support requests in our helpdesk system.
Source, deploy, and maintain company devices (laptops, phones, tablets, peripherals).
Manage user accounts—add, remove, and update users in core systems, mainly Entra ID
Coach users on tools like Windows 11, Office365, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.
Ensure all settings meet company security standards.
Complete projects as directed (e.g., device refreshes).
Deliver friendly, attentive support that boosts user satisfaction.
About You
Tertiary Diploma or equivalent in ICT (or working towards one).
Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA) are a plus.
2 years’ experience in IT support or customer service.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows OS, networking, software, device management, and security best practices.
Patient, well-organised, and a great communicator—especially when explaining tech to non-tech users.
Process-oriented, with good judgement and a collaborative spirit.
Eager to learn and develop your skills.
You’ll be joining a close-knit ICT Team of 9, spread across multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand. We’re a collaborative bunch, supporting each other and sharing knowledge to solve problems and deliver great service. You’ll work alongside the Platforms & Support Lead, Systems Engineer, ICT Support Analyst, ICT Manager, and end users—plus external partners for licensing and procurement.
