JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of Site, this role is responsible and accountable for the installation, implementation, maintenance, and management of M.A.P. WA’s IT infrastructure, computer, and communicated-related activities, within the limits of requirements, specifications, budget, and timeliness. Duties may include but not limited to:
Manage the correct operation and execution of all specialist retail meat packing business applications.
The management of our firewall and security is ensured.
Monthly reports are submitted regarding the status of ICT projects including any deviations and scope adaptations.
System audits to ensure data integrity.
Procurement, configuration and Installation of computer hardware, printers, scanners, CCTV, mobile devices including UHF radios, and office/system software, including the maintenance of software licences.
IT issues are addressed within the agreed time-frame and end-users are kept updated.
IT asset and password registers are maintained.
System upgrades and maintenance conducted as agreed.
Invoices are cross-checked and issues raised with the service provider or supplier.
Participate in new product launches by liaising with internal stakeholders’ for relevant information.
Ensuring accurate data is reflected in Production systems and on the labelling of finished goods.
JOB CRITERIA
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role, within the FMCG industry
Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, or similar
Current experience of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, phone (fixed and mobile) systems, and UHF radios
Project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Current experience of ICT Business Continuity Management
Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skills
Maturity in dealing with complex problems impacting staff (Emotional Intelligence)
Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders via effective communication
Experience in a similar role within the Meat Industry is desirable
Experience with Triton, Bizerba or similar is desirable
