The Firm

A highly regarded Top 100 mid-tier advisory firm is adding an Intermediate Accountant to its Business Services team. The firm has built its reputation on technical excellence, genuine advisory work, and a culture where staff are developed rather than burned out.
The Business Services team works across a diverse client base — high-net-worth individuals, family groups, established SMEs, and growth-stage businesses — giving you real variety rather than the same handful of industries on rotation.

The Role

Reporting to a Manager and Partner who are actively invested in your development, you will:

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
• Provide tax planning and structuring advice across a varied client portfolio
• Manage your own client relationships, with direct partner access where needed
• Support and mentor junior staff
• Get involved in genuine advisory projects — restructures, acquisitions, succession planning, and tax advisory work

About You

• Minimum 3 years' Australian public practice experience in tax and business services
• CA or CPA completed, or well progressed
• Strong technical foundations across tax compliance and advisory
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build client relationships
• Motivated by progression and quality work, not just a salary bump
