The opportunities 

Indigo Early Learning Centre in Woombye, QLD is seeking a passionate individual with a Diploma or Certificate III qualification to join our team on a part-time or full time basis. You will play a vital part in providing high-quality childcare and early learning experiences for the children in our care and have experience in our industry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs for children aged 0-5 years

• Observe and document each child's progress, interests and developmental needs

• Provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development

• Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with them to support each child's learning and wellbeing

• Maintain accurate records, portfolios and documentation as required by regulatory authorities

• Actively participate in team meetings, training and professional development opportunities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or Diploma Educator with experience across all age groups.

• Demonstrated experience working in a similar early learning or childcare environment

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Creativity, flexibility and a genuine passion for early childhood education

• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management certifications

• Working With Children Check
