Opportunity to Build and Lead a New Division

We are seeking an experienced and motivated person to establish and lead a new Hydraulic Hose & Fittings Division within our growing mining services business based in Roseworthy SA or Townsville QLD.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants more than just a standard sales or workshop role. The successful applicant will take ownership of building and operating a dedicated hydraulic hose and fittings business backed by an established company already servicing the underground mining industry throughout Australia.

About the Role

You will be responsible for setting up and running the day-to-day operations of the hydraulic division, including:

• Hydraulic hose assembly and fittings sales

• Developing supplier and customer relationships

• Managing inventory and stock control

• Workshop and hose bench operations

• Pricing, quoting, and customer support

• Identifying growth opportunities within the mining and industrial sectors

• Building systems and processes for the division

• Working closely with our existing mining maintenance and engineering teams

The role has flexibility to grow into branch or division management for the right person.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in hydraulic hose and fittings sales, assembly, or operations

• Strong product knowledge of hydraulic hoses, fittings, adaptors, and associated components

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently

• A practical hands-on attitude

• Experience with inventory systems, quoting, or workshop operations highly regarded

Previous experience with brands such as Gates, Manuli, Parker, Eaton, Ryco, or similar hydraulic systems would be advantageous.
