About the role
To support our growth, we are seeking a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at LGC based in our modern facilities in Midvale, WA. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this critical full-time role will be responsible for providing strategy aligned people and culture guidance and support to our organisation. The role will drive strategic HR initiatives, support our leadership team, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving problems, be passionate about shaping organizational culture, and making a real impact on our workforce.
Responsibilities:
Implement HR strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, performance management, and maintain strong industrial relations compliance.
Guide and coach managers to strengthen leadership capability and enhance employee engagement.
Ensure adherence to employment laws, health & safety regulations, and data protection standards.
Oversee recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and interviews.
Implement employee development programs to foster growth and skill enhancement.
Provide input into company benefits and pay structures to attract and retain talent.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, with strong experience in the Employment Hero platform.
Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a HRBP role.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Australia.
Proven experience in conflict resolution and employee relations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to mentor and coach managers effectively.
Experience with HR software, particularly Employment Hero, is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
