Description

• Hands on approach to safety - driving influence across management groups on sites
• Coaching and supporting sites on WHS issues
• Developing in-house training materials
• Ensure correct and effective use of safety database (Assura) for AU
• Retaining ISO45001 certification (Brisbane site)
• Influencing safety culture across all functions of the AU business

Profile

A successful HSE Manager should have:

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in HSE (minimum)
• 5 years' experience in HSE role within a multi-site environment
• Strong influencing and communication skills
• Driver's licence - travel required - 29 sites across Australia that you will be driving and influencing
• Ability to work at pace and have strong influential skills
• Member of AIHS or similar - demonstrating eagerness to continuously develop and learn

If you have had the following, this would be deemed desirable but not essential:

• Experience from the transport/logistics industry, but multi site experience is more important
• Exposure to sustainability/environmental aspects would be a benefit, but not essential
• Knowledge of ISO45001 would be an advantage

Job Offer
