ASKIN Performance Panels is looking for a motivated and proactive HSE Coordinator to join our Group Operations team based in Dandenong South.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has a foundation in workplace health, safety and environmental systems and is looking to continue developing their career across a multi-site manufacturing business operating throughout Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Operations HSE Manager, you will support safety and environmental initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites while continuing to build your technical and operational HSE capability.

This is a hands-on role with a strong site presence, suited to someone who enjoys balancing operational engagement with systems, reporting and continuous improvement activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems across operations sites

• Conducting site walks, safety observations and risk assessments

• Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions

• Supporting Workers Compensation and Return to Work processes

• Maintaining HSE registers, reporting and compliance documentation

• Assisting with internal audits and compliance activities

• Monitoring environmental and safety performance data

• Supporting safety initiatives, toolbox talks and training activities

• Building strong working relationships with operational teams across sites

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, proactive and enjoys being involved in day-to-day operations.

You may already have experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics or FMCG environments and be looking for the next step in your HSE career.

To be successful, you will ideally bring:

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety

• Previous experience in a HSE, safety or operational support role

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Good organisational and administrative capability

• Confidence working both on the floor and within systems/reporting

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

• A practical and solutions-focused approach

• Ability to travel occasionally across operational sites

• Workers Compensation or Return to Work experience is advantageous but not essential.
