About the role 

We’re seeking a proactive and commercially minded HR Advisor (People and Talent) to join our People & Safety team. 

This is a broad role with a strong focus on end-to-end recruitment, talent acquisition and HR support across Australia and New Zealand. Partnering closely with leaders across the business, you’ll play a key role in improving hiring outcomes, supporting people initiatives and helping strengthen leader capability. 

You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement activities across recruitment and HR processes, helping create a more efficient and people-focused experience for leaders, employees and candidates.  

Duties 

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across technical, operational and corporate roles  
  • Partner with leaders on vacancy briefings, sourcing strategies, selection and offers  
  • Proactively source candidates and build talent pipelines across recruitment platforms  
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, onboarding and recruitment administration  
  • Provide practical HR advice and coaching to leaders and employees  
  • Support employee lifecycle activities, HR administration and reporting  
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives  
  • Support employer branding, EVP and candidate experience initiatives  
  • Maintain HR systems, recruitment data and reporting accuracy  
  • Build strong working relationships across the business and wider People & Safety team  

Skills & experience 

  • Previous experience in HR advisory, talent acquisition or a similar people-focused role  
  • Strong end-to-end recruitment experience across a variety of role types  
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice  
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across recruitment, advisory and project work  
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills  
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational capability  
  • Experience using HRIS, recruitment platforms and Microsoft Office systems  
  • Experience within manufacturing, technical, engineering, operations or B2B environments will be highly regarded  
  • Exposure to EVP, talent pooling or graduate/trainee pipelines is advantageous
