About the role
Located in the Redlands, our Cleveland service require a Home Care Worker to support and enable our clients maintain a happy, healthy and independent lifestyle at home.
You will assist with personal grooming and hygiene, medication, transport, social inclusion and domestic duties as required.

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role
• A fantastic attitude and genuine interest in helping others
• A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment of care
• Enjoyment in social activities and one-on-one engagement
• Understanding of physical limitations and a safe, sensible approach
• Strong communication and organizational skills - able to manage your time and support clients to do the same in an everyday capacity

Mandatory qualifications:

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Disability Services or similar field
• Completion of HLTHPS006 - assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain)
• Completion of HLTAAP001 - recognise healthy body systems (or commitment to obtain)
• A current National Police Certificate
• Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
• Immunisation against Tetanus & Hepatitis B
• Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role
