Our client is a well-established engineering and infrastructure business delivering complex projects across Australia and internationally. Due to continued growth and project demand, we are partnering with them to appoint experienced HSEQ professionals to support their infrastructure operations.

These opportunities will suit proactive safety and compliance professionals who enjoy working closely with operational teams, influencing culture on site, and driving best-practice safety outcomes.

The opportunity is reporting into senior project and operational leadership, and you will play a key role in supporting Health, Safety, Environment and Quality initiatives across infrastructure and project operations.

This is a hands-on role where you will work collaboratively with site teams, leadership and operational stakeholders to maintain compliance, support audits and investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HSEQ activities across infrastructure and project operations
• Monitor and maintain safety and compliance reporting requirements
• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Promote a strong safety-first culture across operational teams
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems and processes
• Coordinate safety documentation, procedures and reporting requirements
• Assist with contractor management and compliance activities
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive positive safety outcomes
• Support environmental and legislative compliance obligations

About You 

• Previous experience in a HSEQ, Safety or Compliance-focused role
• Exposure to infrastructure, engineering, construction, mining or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Strong organisational and reporting capability
• Ability to build trusted relationships across operational teams
