HP2 Salary: $91,026 - $108,691 (Plus 12.5% Super)
P2 Salary: $91,026 - $117,896 (Plus 12.5% Super)

About the Role:

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) provides assessment and treatment for young people up to the age of 18 years who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues who present to Emergency Department. CAMHS also provides high quality tertiary mental health care for young people aged 14-25 experiencing first onset psychosis.

A day in the life, you will provide appropriate and skilled assessment and risk management to consumers with severe, complex and/or acute mental health issues who have been discharged from Emergency Department or have been discharged from an inpatient facility. To assertively follow up young people post discharge in the community.

You will participate in safety planning with the consumer, families, and carers, whilst working within a recovery focused framework. Include carers, children, Nominated Persons, GPs, and other service providers in the recovery planning process, as required.

We are looking for someone, who has a demonstrated track record of working in a multi-disciplined team environment and supporting and contributing to a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages collaborative teamwork and complies with all the applicable regulatory and legislative requirements set out for such a role.

The role requires the team member to undertake professional development and supervision, participate in quality initiatives and contribute to the multidisciplinary team processes.

Additionally, the role is required to be available to work within all program areas of CAMHS, as service needs arise.

Note: A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.
