PLUS82GOGI Adelaide is seeking a skilled and reliable Full-Time Cook to join our busy Korean BBQ restaurant located in the Adelaide CBD. We are looking for a motivated team member with experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining high food quality standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Position Details

• Position Title: Cook (Full Time)

• Employment Type: Full Time

• Hours: Minimum 38 hours per week

• Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation

• Location: 12 Eliza Street, Adelaide SA 5000

Tasks & Duties

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Preparing, seasoning, and cooking Korean BBQ menu items

• Handling meats, marinades, sauces, stews, rice, noodles, and side dishes

• Monitoring food quality, freshness, and presentation standards

• Storing and handling food safely in accordance with hygiene regulations

• Managing stock rotation and reducing food wastage

• Operating kitchen equipment including grills, stoves, and ovens safely

• Portioning and plating dishes according to restaurant standards

• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

• Following workplace health, safety, and food safety procedures

• Assisting with training and supporting junior kitchen staff

Skills & Experience Required

Applicants should have:

• Relevant qualification and/or minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience

• Experience preparing and cooking food in a commercial kitchen

• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Korean cuisine or Korean BBQ highly regarded

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
