Task & responsibilities

Task & Responsibilities

• Shampooing and conditioning hair.
• Colouring, straightening, and perming hair with chemical solutions.
• Cutting and styling hair with scissors and trimmers such as skin fade, taper fade, low skin fade etc
• Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches.
• Keep up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques, and products and make recommendations to clients.
• Cleaning work areas and sanitising all the tools.
• Arranging appointments and collecting payments

Qualification & experience

• At least 1-year recent experience barbering or hairdressing
• Certificate 3 in Hairdressing or relevant experience
• A strong commitment to safety
• A willingness to learn and develop skillets.
• Experience with the latest men’s hair cutting and beard styles such as fades and beard sculpting.
• Experience in straight razor shaving and moustache styling. Sound oral communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude Physically fit and healthy.
• Attention to detail.
