Groundsman – Tree Services

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Groundsman to become part of our professional tree services team. In this outdoor, physically active role, you will work alongside experienced arborists, assisting with tree pruning and removals.

Whether you're experienced in the industry or looking to start a career in arboriculture, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional team and develop valuable skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting arborists with tree pruning and removal operations

• Feeding and operating wood chippers safely

• Managing ropes, rigging equipment, and lowering zones

• Dragging and processing branches and timber

• Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite

• Conducting traffic management and site setup where required

• Performing daily checks and basic maintenance on equipment and vehicles

• Supporting the team to complete jobs efficiently and safely

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely around machinery

• White Card (preferred)

• Current driver's licence (manual preferred)

• HR licence, chipper experience, chainsaw qualifications, or arboriculture experience highly regarded
