About the role

Rawcon Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Gas Mainslayer Assistant to join our team in Hallam, VIC. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of gas pipelines, contributing to the reliable delivery of energy to our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the safe and efficient installation of gas mains and services

2. Undertake excavation, pipeline laying, and backfilling work

3. Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools

4. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry regulations

5. Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on schedule

6. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills

What we're looking for

1. Demonstrated experience as a labourer in the gas or construction industry

2. Strong practical skills and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

3. Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

4. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding work

5. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

6. A valid driver's license
