FASE Traders Pty Ltd T/A Beekeeping Gear is seeking a full-time Retail Buyer to join their dynamic team at their retail location in Granville, NSW 2142 Australia.

Beekeeping Gear, a division of FASE Traders Pty Ltd, is a leading Australian store specializing in beekeeping supplies and apparel. As the manufacturer of its own branded OZ ARMOUR beekeeping suits, the company is known for its high-quality, affordable products and commitment to excellent customer service. In addition to its popular suits, it offers a wide range of beekeeping tools, accessories, and beehives.

Task & responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Monitor sales data and stock levels to ensure product availability.
• Anticipate consumer demand and market trends within the beekeeping industry.
• Source, select, and purchase a wide range of goods for resale, including beekeeping suits, tools, and live bees.
• Negotiate purchase, promotion, and supply arrangements with new and existing suppliers.
• Manage a budget and prepare purchasing reports for management review.
• Collaborate with the management team on long-term buying strategies and product development.
• Assist in the development and implementation of pricing and promotional strategies.
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all suppliers.
• Liaise with the marketing and sales departments to create cohesive product campaigns.
• Evaluate and maintain the quality of all purchased products to meet company standards.
• Review past sales data to inform future purchasing decisions and maximise profitability.
• Ensure the timely delivery of goods and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Contribute to expanding and improving Beekeeping Gear’s product range.

Qualification & experience

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in retail buying or procurement
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor inventory and sales data.
• Good knowledge of product sourcing and quality control
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management systems

Experience Required: Minimum of one year of professional experience as a Retail Buyer.

Good Salary Package: AUD 80,000 plus Super
