Full-Time Painter Position Available

Task & responsibilities

• Setting up scaffolding, ladders, and protective coverings to prepare work areas.
• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint or wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling cracks, sanding, sealing, and smoothing surfaces.
• Mixing paints and other coatings to achieve required colours and textures.
• Applying paints, varnishes, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Hanging wallpaper, aligning patterns, and trimming edges neatly.
• Cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Carrying out minor repairs such as restoring wooden frames, replacing glass panels, or repairing wall and floor surfaces when required.

Qualification & experience

• 1–2 years of relevant painting experience.
• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow company standards.
