Full Time Metal Fabricator - Multiple Positions Available

Responsibilities:

• Present for work in a fit manner, not affected by fatigue, drugs, alcohol or the effects of a second job
• Set out work area to allow for efficient fabrication and assembly of products
• Reading and understanding manufacturing drawing proficiently
• Assist with job costing estimates - fabrication time, consumables, external processes
• Provide daily job status updates
• Provide feedback for product or process improvements
• Maintain welding equipment and workshop equipment used
• Keep your work area clean and safe at all times
• Installation and testing of fabricated and purchased items
• Following weld procedures and assisting the generation of weld procedures when required
• Driving to/from and within remote mining sites
• Complete Pre-Start checklists
• Complete Mine Site Inductions
• Complete JHAs, Take 5s, Hotwork Permits, in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures as required
• Complete Daily Works Records, allocating time, equipment and materials used during the day for client or manager approval

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Australian Drivers License - Manual
• MEM31922 Certificate 3 Engineering
• National Forklift License
