Qualifications & experience

• Certificate IV in commercial cookery and minimum 2 year full time cook experience

Tasks & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner (including steak and fish)

• Portion food ingredients

• Keep/store food in safe/correct temperature

• Check food quality and quantity

• Able to work both weekends and public holidays

• Season food during cooking

• Provide Menu suggestions and train other staff if needed

• Prepare food to meet special food requirements

• Serve food within a time frame

• Maintain food safety and hygiene and keep written record
