Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focus) 

Fin Crime Technology | 6-Month Contract | Melbourne
 
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focus) to join a high-performing Financial Crime technology team within a major Australian financial institution. This is an urgent 6-month contract with an immediate start, supporting critical uplift and enhancement work across key digital and integration platforms.

This role sits within a fast-paced delivery environment focused on improving investigative and monitoring capabilities through modern web applications, APIs, and scalable backend services.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong commercial experience with React (approx. 70% focus)
  • Solid API development and integration experience
  • Strong Java backend development experience (approx. 30%)
  • Experience working within enterprise or regulated environments (banking/financial services preferred)
  • Exposure to test automation / QE automation tools (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work in complex, fast-paced delivery environments
Highly Desirable
  • Previous experience within a major Australian bank or financial institution
  • Exposure to Financial Crime, AML, fraud, or risk systems
  • Experience working in large-scale Agile environments
