As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for managing the acquisition, maintenance and replacement of company vehicles. You’ll  ensure compliance with transport regulations, monitor vehicle usage and implement systems to optimize fleet performance and reduce operating costs.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES: 

-Oversee daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, vehicle dispatch and maintenance.

-Ensure vehicles are regularly serviced, maintained and comply with road safety standards.

-Monitor fuel usage, driver behavior and overall fleet efficiency.

-Manage registrations, insurance and other regulatory requirements.

-Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for vehicle repairs and parts.

-Develop and implement cost-effective transport strategies.

-Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, servicing and utilization.

-Supervise and support team of drivers and transport staff.

SKILLS ANDS QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in fleet/logistics management.
• Proven experience in managing vehicle fleets across multiple sites or regions.
• Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft office suite.
• Valid drivers license.
