Banner Is seeking a full-time Financial Investment Advisor to work within our Investment Relations team. 

Tasks

• Liaising with existing and prospective investors on financial options 
• Provide reporting on investments to investors including advising on fund investment strategy and distribution or reinvestment of income and changes to market environments that may affect investments.  
• Assist in preparation and calculations of distributions for settlements and Fund returns and communicating this to investors
• Managing funds consolidated from various investors (including high net worth individuals, self-managed superannuation funds and institutional investors). 
• This will involve:
  • ascertaining investor’s investment parameters
  • selecting suitable investments for the investor
  • monitoring investment performance; and 
  • reviewing and revising investment plans based on modified needs of the investor) 
• Collecting fund performance information, monitoring and reporting on Fund performance and preparation of reports and forecasts with a view to providing reports to Board and investment options to current and prospective investor

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a property fund or investment management.
• Bachelors qualification in Finance/Accounting
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, problem solve, work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate, liaise and contribute at meetings with people at different levels within the organisation.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
