From coastal highways to regional towns and remote communities, you’ll spend your days on the move servicing and maintaining carpet cleaning equipment across your territory. About the RoleYou’ll service and maintain Britex and Rug Doctor hire machines located in hardware stores and supermarkets throughout Queensland. This is a hands-on field role suited to someone practical, self-motivated, and comfortable spending long hours on the road.
What You’ll Be DoingTravel extensively throughout Queensland servicing hire machines
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment running reliably
Manage scheduled service runs and call cycles independently
Use an iPad to plan routes, complete service reports, and manage jobs
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues on site
Build strong working relationships with store teams
Maintain clean, organised, and well-presented in-store displays
Keep your company vehicle tidy, stocked, and ready for the next trip
Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally
Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
Someone who genuinely enjoys driving and being on the road
Practical maintenance, handyman, or field service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Current Australian driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg
Previous maintenance or field service experience is an advantage, but not essential
National police check and willingness to complete a pre-employment medical
Monday to Friday role — no weekends or overtime
Company vehicle, tools, and uniform provided
Extensive travel throughout Queensland
