About the role

Custom Built Fences is seeking an experienced Fencing and Gate Installer to join our team in Bayswater, VIC. As a full-time Fencing and Gate Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and construction of high-quality fencing and gates for our residential and commercial clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company in the building trades industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Accurately measure, plan, and install a variety of fencing materials including timber, steel, and aluminium

2. Construct and install gates, including automated and manual systems

3. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional customer service

4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

5. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our installation processes

6. Assist with other tasks as required to support the wider team

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Fencing and Gate Installer or in a similar role

2. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients

5. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

6. A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

7. Must hold a valid car licence

8. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (desirable)

9. Must have legal work rights in Australia
