Family Law Special Counsel / Senior Associate
Lead & Grow a Family Law Practice

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer to join a well-established and respected Brisbane Inner Northside law firm.

This role would suit either:

• a Special Counsel looking to lead and grow a Family Law division; or
• a high-performing Senior Associate ready to step into a leadership position with strong mentoring and support.

Working closely with an experienced and highly regarded Principal, you will have the opportunity to take a key role in the continued growth of the practice while being supported in your long-term career progression.

The Role
You will manage a broad range of family law matters including:

• Parenting and property disputes
• Divorce and separation matters
• Binding Financial Agreements
• Domestic violence matters
• Mediation and Court appearances

You will also play an important role in:

• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Mentoring junior lawyers and support staff
• Assisting with the strategic growth of the Family Law practice

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have at least 5+ years PAE in Family Law
• Be confident managing files with a degree of autonomy
• Possess strong client relationship and communication skills
• Be commercially minded with a genuine interest in growing a practice
• Enjoy mentoring and contributing to team culture
