The Role 

Your role will include façade performance design, building envelope design, façade remediation, and structural analysis. You'll produce technical reports, assess designs for weatherproofing, review shop drawings, and conduct inspections during construction and installation. You'll also diagnose issues with poorly performing facades.

The Responsibilities

Technical:

• Expertise in façade systems (masonry, cladding, curtain walls, etc.) and structural design
• Proficient in Australian Building Codes, materials durability, and thermal simulation tools
• Skilled in finite element analysis, 3D modeling (Grasshopper), and façade design

Project Delivery:

• Strong project management skills, ensuring quality deliverables
• Lead design development and provide technical support
• Manage communication with stakeholders and monitor project progress

The Requirements

We want to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

• A positive can-do attitude with the drive and desire to learn new skills and develop existing ones
• 2-4 years of experience within Facade engineering working for an engineering design consultancy
• A relevant engineering degree
• Australian engineering design consultancy experience
• Full working rights in Australia
