The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare, dispense, and label medicines and prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
- Undertake advanced compounding and extemporaneous preparation of medicines in line with standards and safety requirements.
- Manage stock control, including procurement, receipt, storage, monitoring of expiry dates, and rotation of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Oversee and coordinate workflow across the dispensary to support efficiency and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and workplace policies.
- Assist in the preparation of pharmacy audit materials, maintenance of controlled substance records, and reporting for compliance purposes.
- Deliver professional and knowledgeable customer service regarding prescription and non-prescription medicines under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, safety audits, and continuous improvement of pharmacy operations.

- Must have a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years full-time highly relevant post-qualification experience as a Pharmacy Technician, Dispensary technician or Pharmacist.
- Proven experience in advanced dispensing, stock management, and compounding in a busy community pharmacy environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety, compliance, and customer care.
- Proficiency with MS office and excel.
