About Our Client

Our Client is a well-established manufacturer supplying steel reinforcing and building products across Australia. They operate a fast-paced production facility with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business offering casual to permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Machine / Loading Operator you will be responsible for the below duties:

Operating steel bending machines in a high-volume environment

Completing overhead crane pre-start safety checks

Filling coil bays with raw materials using large forklifts

Loading coils onto machines using overhead gantry cranes

Clearing machines and loading steel onto trucks and transport units

Assisting production to meet order deadlines

Filling tie wire stands at machines

Emptying scrap bins and assisting with scrap recovery

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

Previous machine operating or similar manufacturing experience

Current Forklift Licence

Experience operating large forklifts highly regarded

Gantry or overhead crane experience preferred

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Reliable transport and ability to work afternoon shift

Motivated attitude with strong work ethic
