About the role

Bowers Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Shop Manager to lead our dynamic team in Newcastle, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our collision repair workshop, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the collision repair workshop, including workflow, productivity, and quality control

• Oversee the repair process, from initial assessment to final delivery, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client expectations

• Manage and develop a team of skilled technicians, painters, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

• Liaise with insurance providers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of any issues

• Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Collision Repair Shop Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry

• Thorough understanding of vehicle repair processes, including estimating, parts procurement, and quality control

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, insurers, and other stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement

• Relevant qualifications in Automotive Repair or a related field are highly desirable
