$70,000 - $80,000 Annual

Responsibilities:

  • Promote the company’s equipment hire solutions to government, corporate, association, and event clients to drive market visibility, enquiries, and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies covering bookings, delivery, setup, and returns.
  • Review and improve operational procedures for scheduling, allocation, transport, storage, and site coordination, ensuring efficient multi-site hire operations.
  • Manage procurement and vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, availability, and service levels to maintain a reliable and fit-for-purpose equipment fleet.
  • Oversee maintenance, testing, and repairs for hire equipment, ensuring preventative programs, compliance documentation, and asset reliability.
  • Supervise, train, and develop operations staff in equipment preparation, safe handling, client liaison, and onsite deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards across warehouses, transport, and onsite operations, including risk assessments and test-and-tag programs.
  • Liaise directly with clients to plan equipment specifications, logistics, and onsite support, ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions and timely delivery.
  • Manage forward planning for cross-hiring and inter-branch allocations to guarantee client solutions.
  • Coordinate orders, fleet allocation, scheduling, dispatch, installation, returns, and transfers to meet project timelines and operational standards.
  • Be the lead company wide expert on our Inventory Management tool “Flexrentals”

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in equipment hire management, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of AV/technical equipment hire and event operations.
  • Proven ability to manage staff, contractors, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, procurement, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WHS compliance and operational safety standards.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and after hours when required.
