About the role

The Lorn Surgery is seeking a passionate and experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) and Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a part-time capacity. Based in Maitland, NSW 2320, this role will provide general practice support and play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a general practice setting

2. Assisting with patient triage, administering medications, and performing various clinical procedures

3. Collaborating with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans and health assessments.

4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

5. Participating in regular team meetings and continuing professional development

What we're looking for

1. Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

2. Minimum 2 years' experience working in a general practice or primary care setting

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

4. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

5. Proficiency in using medical software and technology to support patient care

6. A passion for healthcare and a desire to contribute to the overall well-being of the community
