Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, responsible for foreign policy, relations & trade, are Seeking the experience of an Enterprise Architect

Duties of the Enterprise Architect

• Researches and selects appropriate technologies, platforms and tools that best meet the project's requirements;
• Development of long-term roadmaps;
• Govern architecture compliance with whole-of-government frameworks, standards and policies;
• Evaluating and recommending enterprise‑wide solutions;
• Provides constructive feedback on the department's strategic and architectural reference material and guidance;
• Proactively engages in established forums such as the Design Authority (DA) and the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and promotes engagement in these forums with colleagues.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience within the ICT industry, including exposure to enterprise or strategic technology environments;
• Exposure to secure government systems and complex ICT environments;
• Current NV1 security clearance minimum required;
• Understanding of Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential 8 controls, with the ability to apply secure and pragmatic design approaches;
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, connectivity models, and integration patterns;
• Relevant technology certifications, qualifications, or further study highly regarded.
