Helios Power Solutions is a forward thinking energy solutions company delivering innovative and sustainable power systems across commercial and infrastructure projects. We are expanding our technical leadership team and are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering operations in Sydney.
This is a senior leadership position suited to a technically strong and commercially astute professional who can drive project excellence, mentor engineering teams and ensure compliance with Australian standards
Competitive salary between $145,000 and $165,000 plus superannuation

As Engineering Manager, you will:
• Lead and manage electrical and power systems engineering teams
• Oversee design, development and delivery of renewable and grid connected projects
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations and quality frameworks
• Manage project budgets, timelines and technical risk assessments
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and regulatory stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes
• Provide technical oversight on high voltage, low voltage and energy storage systems
• Support business development with technical input and feasibility assessments
• Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
• Minimum 3 years full time experience in a comparable Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering role
• Demonstrated experience in power systems, renewable energy or infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership capability managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Proven experience in project delivery, budgeting and stakeholder engagement
• Sound knowledge of Australian engineering compliance standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Chartered status or eligibility for professional registration in Australia will be highly regarded.
